im going on vacation in a few days in china, then somewhere else. Is it possible to play gw there? Because i know lots of games have ip restrictions

I spent a few months out in Singapore and was able to play GW with no problems, so I think you should be fine.

Why do people want to tell you what to do on your vacation? (Especially if it could be your parents vacation, not yours.)

Or, in other words, why can't people just answer the dam question?

Go to internet cafes. It's cheap, comfortable and it has good computers. However, you have to be 18+ to enter and have a internet cafe access pass, which is the problem. The only way to deal with it is to borrow your friend's internet access card (if you have friends in china). Otherwise, bring a laptop.

And to answer your question: YES, you can play guild wars in china. Almost every internet cafe's have guild wars installed. You can access to all districts, bla bla bla, etc.
